i interviewed alexander josephson on take 5 this morning, and i was really happy with how it went. he was talking about his art project that was in queen's park on monday- a display of 75 polysterene impressions of hands, knees, and heads as if on a midsalah prayer mat.
this was the first of three projects he's doing, and the other two are going to be about christianity and judaism.
he had some really interesting ideas about multiculturalism in toronto and we bantered for a bit about how we mistake actual cultural segregation for multiculturalism. so refreshing to talk to someone who wasn't afraid to say something that might be un-p.c but that is actually so true.
anyways. that was it for my day.
laid outside for a long time and i'm burnt to a crisp.
haha. serves me right.
